In this recent Telegraph film about our work, we reflect on our founder, Anthony Gordon Lennox’s belief in authentic leadership

Henrietta Lindsell.

Henrietta graduated from Bristol University with a degree in History and History of Art after which she began her working life as Gallery Manager of Christie’s Contemporary Art in London, specialising in the contemporary print market. She went on to head up The London fundraising team of Cancer Relief Macmillan Fund, and in 1992 she relocated to Tokyo to set up an Art Import business, ‘Tokyo Trading’, which she ran for seven years.

For the last 10 years she has been a Trustee of the Norfolk Churches Trust responsible for their fundraising/PR arm, and an Ambassador (Development Committee) of the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts in Norwich, where her work is in education and exhibitions. She is a Governor of Beeston Hall School, near her home in Norfolk, and is currently writing a book.

Bringing with her a wealth of experience from education to leadership, Henrietta has been Director of AGL International since October 2018. She is the sister of our late founder, Anthony Gordon Lennox.
